Rescor 902 1
1150ºC Alumina Silicate
Fine grained ceramic that is readily machinable,
providing excellent electronic, mechanical and 2
thermal properties. It is inert to oxidising and
reducing atmospheres, resistant to most acids, 3
chemicals, solvents and has excellent thermal
shock resistance.
Ideal for rapid prototypes, fabrication of 4
electrical insulators, furnace components,
brazing, soldering, welding fixtures etc.

430ºC Glass Ceramic 6
A dense and vacuum tight, glass ceramic
composite that is readily machinable, with no
post machining heat treatment required. 7
Inert to oxidising and reducing atmospheres
and usable to 540ºC maximum. Offers excellent 8
mechanical and electrical properties and has a
dielectric strength of 18kV/mm.

980ºC MACOR Glass Ceramic

A dense vacuum tight, glass ceramic composite
that is readily machinable and usable up to
980ºC. Can be ground, sawn, turned, milled, 11
drilled etc. Will provide dense zero porosity
parts in-house.
Use in critical medical and high vacuum 12
applications. No post machining heat
treatments required.

1650ºC Ultra High Temperature 14
96% Alumina, machinable ceramic, offering
the convenience and economy of an in-house
capability for Alumina parts. The chemical, 15
thermal and electrical properties are equivalent
to standard high performance Alumina
